The mourning process of survivors

Abstract:

Má bakalářská práce nazývající se "Proces truchlení u pozůstalých osob" se dělí na část teoretickou a část výzkumnou. Teoretická část je rozdělená do tří kapitol. První kapitola se zabývá tématem smrti, umírání a tématem péče o umírající. Druhá kapitola popisuje truchlení, konkrétně jeho druhy, fáze a faktory, které mohou truchlení ovlivnit. Poslední teoretická kapitola je zaměřená na formy poradenství pro pozůstalé. Výzkumná část byla realizována pomocí kvalitativního výzkumu, kterého se zúčastnilo osm pozůstalých osob. Cílem výzkumu bylo popsat procesy truchlení u pozůstalých osob a zjistit, jaké okolnosti ovlivnily truchlení. Provedeným výzkumem jsme zjistili, že truchlení může být ovlivněno několika faktory, kterými mohou být sociální opora nebo samotná účast na pohřbu. Dále bylo zjištěno, že smrt blízké osoby může pozůstalé osoby ovlivnit v jejich postoji ke smrti. Postoje ke spirituálním otázkám před a po ztrátě blízké osoby však zůstaly stejné.

Abstract:

My bachelor thesis called "The mourning process of survivors" is divided into theoretical and research part. The theoretical part is divided into three chapters. The first chapter deals with the topic of death, dying and care for the dying. The second chapter describes mourning, specifically its types, stages and factors that may influence mourning. The last theoretical chapter is focused on the forms of counseling for the survivors. The research part was realized by means of qualitative research in which eight survivors participated. The aim of the research was to describe the mourning processes of survivors and to find out which circumstances influenced the mourning. Through research, we have found that mourning can be influenced by several factors, which can be social support or the participation in the funeral itself. It was also found that the death of a loved one can affect survivors in their attitude to death. Their attitudes toward spiritual issues before and after the loss of a loved one have remained the same.
