World of Unlimited Opportunities: Possibilities of distribution of short films in the Czech Republic
Abstract:
V bakalářské práci se snažím komplexně postihnout vývoj a současné možnosti distribuce krátkometrážní tvorby na pomezí s jinými formami mediálního umění. Klíčovým obdobím výzkumu je digitální doba a období internetu. Soustředím se jak na televizní stanice, VOD platformy, tak filmové festivaly a jejich sekce.
Abstract:
In my bachelor thesis I try to comprehensively describe the development and current possibilities of distribution of short films on the border with other forms of media art. The key period of my research is the digital and internet era. I focus not only on television channels and VOD platforms but also on film festivals and their sections.
