Finanční krize 2007-2008, druhá největší hospodářská krize v historii, zasáhla svět nepřipraven. Řada zemí se musela dohodnout s Mezinárodním měnovým fondem (dále jen IMF) na pomocných úvěrech. The financial crisis of 2007-2008 was the second largest in history and hit the world totally unprepared resulting in many countries negotiating new deals with the IMF to correct their toxic lending policies.
