Pathology of Placenta - the Frequency of Inflammatory Changes

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se skládá z části teoretické, praktické a vlastního zpracování dat. V teoretické části se věnuji anatomii a histologii placenty, základům embryogeneze a patologii placenty. Praktická část zahrnuje metodiku zpracování histologického materiálu. Ve vlastní práci sleduji frekvenci zánětlivých změn placentární tkáně v souvislosti s předem definovanými faktory, jako jsou věk matky, doba ukončení gravidity, počet dokončených porodů matky, poloha plodu, způsob ukončení těhotenství a vícečetnost těhotenství. Cílem bakalářské práce bylo osvojení základních principů přípravy histologického materiálu, seznámení se s anatomií a patologií placenty a zjištění, zda existuje vztah frekvence výskytu zánětlivých lézí placenty s definovanými faktory, naučit se pracovat s grafy a provést fotodokumentaci.

Abstract:

The thesis is composed of the theoretical, practical and data processing part. The theoretical part deals with the anatomy and histology of the placenta, the basics of embryogenesis and placenta pathology. The practical part includes the methodology of processing the histological material. In my own work I follow the frequency of inflammatory changes of placental tissues in the context of pre-defined factors such as maternal age, period of pregnancy termination, the number of births that were completed naturally, fetal position, method of pregnancy termination and multiple pregnancies. The object of this thesis was to master the basic principles of the preparation of histological material, to become acquainted with the anatomy and pathology of the placenta and determine whether there is a relationship between the frequency of inflammatory lesions of the placenta with definable and definite factors, learn how to work with graphs and make photographic documentation.
