The Image of Woman in the Old Czech Literature
Abstract:
Tato diplomová práce pojednává o obrazu ženy ve staročeské literatuře, konkrétněji se jedná o světskou krásnou literaturu z doby 14. a první třetiny 15. století. Pozornost je věnována ženám v jednotlivých životních fázích, a to pannám, manželkám, matkám, vdovám, babám (stařenám), nejsou opomenuty ani ženy, které není možné k jednotlivým kategoriím přiřadit.
Abstract:
This thesis focuses on the image of woman in the Old Czech literature, especially on the belles-lettres literature of 14th and first third of 15th century. The author deals mainly with women in particular life phases, such as virgins, wives, mothers, widows, old women, and even those who cannot be included in any of these categories.
