Analysis of the Commodity Rapeseed – Production and Economics

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je poskytnout literární přehled o komoditě řepky olejné, konkrétně o ozimé řepce, a shrnout aktuální informace o jejím pěstování. Dále také vyhodnotit její rentabilitu a nákladovost v zemědělském podniku. Cílem je zhodnotit celkovou situaci v podniku užitím prvků finanční analýzy. V úvodu následně zdůrazňuji, že řepka olejná není pouze nejrozšířenější olejnina v České republice, ale také klíčová plodina pro většinu zemědělských podniků v zemi. Pokud se pěstuje správně, může přinášet stabilní ekonomický příspěvek a přispívat k dosažení kladného hospodářského výsledku. Avšak plodina má také negativní aspekty, jako náročná kompatibilita s ochranou životního prostředí. Tato práce se zaměřuje na prvky analýzy, které nám nabídnou pohled na situaci jak celkového podniku, tak přímo rentability ozimé řepky. Rentabilita podniku se v průběhu let zvyšovala, zatímco rentabilita ozimé řepky vykazovala značné výkyvy, ale stále zůstávala kladná.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to provide a literary overview of the commodity of rapeseed, specifically winter rapeseed, and summarize current information on its cultivation. Additionally, to evaluate its profitability and cost-effectiveness in an agricultural enterprise. The goal is to assess the overall situation in the enterprise using elements of financial analysis. In the introduction, I emphasize that rapeseed is not only the most widespread oilseed in the Czech Republic but also a key crop for most agricultural enterprises in the country. When cultivated properly, it can bring stable economic contribution and contribute to achieving a positive economic result. However, the crop also has negative aspects, such as a demanding compatibility with environmental protection. This thesis focuses on the elements of analysis that will provide us with a view of the situation of both the overall enterprise and the profitability of winter rapeseed. The profitability of the enterprise has increased over the years, while the profitability of winter rapeseed has shown significant fluctuations but remained positive.
