Práce předkládá motiv iniciace jako archetypální cestu hrdiny v moderní britské fantasy literatuře. Zabývá se nejen žánrem fantasy a jeho tradicemi v britské fantasy, ale také použitím motivu iniciace v literatuře pomáhající utvářet žánr fantasy. Abstract:
The work presents the motif of initiation as an archetypal journey of a hero in modern British fantasy literature. It deals not only with fantasy as a genre and the tradition of British fantasy but also with use of motif of initiation within literature helping to shape fantasy genre.
