Michal Janošík: Amen (mass for mixed choir and orchestra) - analytic study

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou vokálně-instrumentální skladby s názvem Amen od současného skladatele Michala Janošíka. Práce obsahuje jeho ţivotopis a soupis dosud napsaných děl; dále přehledné tabulky, které obsahují základní informace k jednotlivým částem skladby a překlad kaţdé části z latinského jazyka. Cílem této práce je představit skladatele Michala Janošíka a jeho tvorbu a analyticky rozebrat jeho skladbu Amen. Přínosem je souhrn dostupných informaci o skladateli Michalu Janošíkovi a jeho skladbě Amen, coţ je adresováno především sbormistrům a dirigentům, ale i dalším hudebníkům, kteří jsou zainteresovaní v interpretaci současné hudby.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the vocal-instrumental composition Amen by contemporary composer Michal Janošík. The work includes his curriculum vitae and an inventory of all his works written so far. Also included are tables that contain basic information on individual parts of the song and the translation of each part from the original Latin. The aim of this thesis is to introduce the composer Michal Janošík, his works and an analysis of the composition Amen. The reader will learn information about the composer Michal Janošík and his composition Amen, which, whilst primarily intended for choirmasters and conductors will also be of interest to other musicians interested in interpreting contemporary music.
