e-commerce - evaluation of economic efficiency

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá tématem tvorby elektronického obchodu a následným ekonomickým zhodnocením efektivnosti vloţených prostředků do samotné tvorby a prvních 3 let provozu e-shopu. V úvodu rešeršní části je analyzováno fungování internetu a chování jeho uţivatelů. Jako další část je analyzován e-commerce, jeho subjekty a objekty a jednotlivé modely obchodů v e-commerce. Dále je popsán současný stav v e-commerce sféře české republiky. Jako následující jsou sepsány legislativní podmínky pro provozování e-shopu v českém prostředí, co musí obsahovat všeobecné obchodní podmínky, jak potupovat při ochraně osobních údajů a jaké jsou moţnosti v právní formě podnikání. V poslední části rešerše je probíráno hodnocení ekonomické efektivnosti tvorby e-shopu. Jsou stanoveny matematické vzorce pro výpočet výnosnosti a návratnosti vlastního kapitálu. Dále jsou stanoveny vzorce pro výpočty čisté současné hodnoty investice a vnitřního výnosového procenta. Ve vlastní části diplomové práce je řešena technická stránka tvorby e-shopu. Nejprve je zvolen software, na kterém bude e-shop vyvíjen, poté je určena volba domény, webhostingu a šablony. Následuje řešení pluginového vybavení stránek, tak aby disponovali funkcemi klasického e-shopu. Dalším úkolem bylo napojení na e-commerce nástroje pro zvyšování návštěvnosti a analytiku webu. V závěru vlastní práce byla řešena ekonomická efektivnost tvorby. Byly vyčíslené náklady a předpokládané trţby v prvních 3 letech fungování. Dle těchto údajů byly poté spočítány statické a dynamické ukazatele ekonomické efektivnosti.

Abstract:

The main aim of this master´s thesis is to create online store and economically evaluate the efficiency of paid-in capital in first three years of its operation. In the introduction of theoretical part of this thesis are analyzed internet functions and behavior of its users. The other part analyses e-commerce subjects and objects and particular trade models in e-commerce. It also describes current state of the e-commerce in the Czech Republic. This theoretical part also identifies legislative requirements for the operation of e-shop in the Czech Republic. As an example can be metioned what aspects must trading conditions contain, the issue of personal data protection in trade or what are the possibilities of different legal forms of business. The last section of theoretical part evaluates the economic efficiency of the creation of e-shop. There are defined mathematical formulas for the calculation of profitability and return on investment of equity capital and mathematical formulas for the calculation of Net Present Value (NPV) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR). The practical part of this thesis deals with technical process of creating the e-shop. First of all, it is necessary to choose the software for e-shop creation. After that there are selected domain, webhosting and templates. It describes plugin equipment of the website which is important for the typical functions of e-shop. Another significant task was the connection with e-commerce utilities for increasement of traffic to website and analytics of the web. Final chapter describes economic efficiency of website creation. There were quantified the costs and expected revenues during first three years of website operation. Based on these data were calculated static and dynamic indicators of economic efficiency.
