Monitoring of cycle tourism on a selected section of the Greenway Jizera

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá úsekem cyklotrasy Greenway Jizera mezi Malou Skálou a Turnovem. Cílem je zmapovat současnou situaci cykloturistiky na tomto úseku trasy a vyhodnotit její ekonomický přínos. Teoretická část práce je zaměřena na vysvětlení základních pojmů spojených s cyklistickou dopravou, představení subjektů řídících cyklistiku a možnosti jejího financování. Závěrem teoretické části je představen produkt Greenway Jizera. Praktická část práce analyzuje výsledky zjištěné dotazníkovým šetřením a následně s pomocí dat získaných ze sčítače cyklistů vyjadřuje ekonomický přínos Greenway Jizera.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is focused on a selected section of the Greenway Jizera between the cities of Malá Skála and Turnov. The main goal of the thesis is to map current situation on this selected section of the route and evaluate its economic benefits. The theoretical part of the thesis introduces the basic terms related to the cyclotourism, present the subjects which supporting the cycle tourism and possibilities of its funding. The end of the theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the product of the Greenway Jizera cycle route. The practical part analyse the results of the survey and then evaluates the economic benefits of the Greenway Jizera.
