Punctures and drainages under computer tomography control

Abstract:

Má bakalářská práce je zaměřena na punkce, drenáže a biopsie prováděné pod kontrolou výpočetní tomografie. V teoretické části jsem uvedl historii počítačové tomografie, vývojové řady přístrojů počítačové tomografie, její vlastnosti, princip a současnost. Dále jsem se snažil charakterizovat intervenční radiologii v nevaskulární oblasti. Pak jsem popisoval principy punkcí, drenáží a biopsií, jejich stručnou charakteristiku a instrumentárium, které se u těchto výkonů užívá. U intervenčních výkonů pod kontrolou výpočetní tomografie jsem se zabýval od přípravy výkonu, zajištění vzorku až po komplikace a selhání metod. Praktická část je zaměřena na samotnou studii. V retrospektivní studii v období od 1.7.2007 do 31.12.2007 jsem stanovil počty intervenčních výkonů na CT pracovišti radiodiagnostického oddělení ve Fakultní nemocnici Ostrava. Z celkového počtu vyšetřovaných jsem se blíže zabýval dvaceti pacienty a s těmi jsem dále pracoval. Do tabulek a grafů jsem zapsal informace o věku, pohlaví, diagnóze a druhu výkonu u daného pacienta. Rozčlenil jsem výsledky na diagnostické a terapeutické.

Abstract:

My bachelor thesis is focused on punctures, drainage and biopsy under computed tomography control. In the theoretical part I introduced the history of computed tomography, the development generations of devices used in computed tomography, and the features and principles of the present computed tomography. Further I tried to characterize the interventional radiology in non-vascular area. Then I described the principles of punctures, drainage and biopsy, their brief characteristics and the instrumentarium which is used with these methods. I followed the course from the preparation of operation, and from the extraction of sample to complications and a failure of methods. The practical part is focused on the research. In the retrospective study of the period from 1st July 2007 to 31st December 2007 I specified the numbers of interventional operations in the computed tomography workplace of radio-diagnostic department in the Fakultní nemocnice Ostrava. From the total number of examinants I further closely dealt with twenty patients and I worked with them more deeply. I wrote down the information about the age, the gender, the diagnosis of the patient and the type of the operation to graphs and schemes. I divided the results into diagnostic and therapeutic group.
