The aim of this work is to define the characteristics of Finnish immigrants in comparison with other immigrant groups and citizens of North America. Táto diplomová práca sa zaoberá obrazom fínskych prisťahovalcov v beletristických dielach Severnej Ameriky. Cieľom práce je vymedziť charakteristické črty fínskych imigrantov oproti obyvateľom a ostatným imigrantským skupinám Severnej Ameriky.
