Raising children of preschool age with allergies in kindergarten

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá výchovou dětí předškolního věku s alergií v mateřské škole. Teoretická část pojednává o předškolním věku dítěte a nejčastějších alergiích, které se u dětí v tomto období mohou vyskytovat. Pro pedagogy mateřských škol se v teoretické části nachází rady a preventivní opatření, která se mohou hodit v případě, že mají ve třídě dítě s alergií. Součástí teoretické části je i pojednání o dítěti s alergií z pohledu legislativy a výchovných metod v mateřské škole. Hlavním cílem praktické části této bakalářské práce je zjistit, jak probíhá výchova dětí předškolního věku s alergií v praxi mateřské školy. Pro realizaci kvantitativního výzkumu jsem zvolila metodu dotazníkového šetření. Výsledky průzkumu jsou vyhodnoceny v závěru této práce. Na základě těchto výsledků lze soudit, že se výchova dětí s alergií v mateřských školách v Opavě příliš neliší od výchovy dětí, které tímto onemocněním netrpí. Pedagogové mateřských škol dle odpovědí v dotazníku dbají na to, aby byli dostatečně edukováni v oblasti alergií, a s dětmi s alergií se setkávají poměrně často.

Abstract:

This bachelor's thesis is discussing the education of preschool children with allergies in kindergarten. The theoretical section is discussing the preschool age and the most common allergies which may occur in children of this age. In the theoretical section, there is advice and preventive measures for kindergarten pedagogues which might be useful in case they have a child with an allergy in the class. A part of the theoretical section is also a point of view from the legislative and kindergarten educational methods perspective. The main purpose of the practical section of this bachelor's thesis is to discover how the education of preschool children with allergies in kindergarten takes place in practice. For the quantitative study of the practical section, I have chosen a survey. The results of the study are evaluated at the end of this thesis. From the results, it can be apparent that the education of children in Opava kindergartens is not so different from the education of children with no allergies. According to the answers, kindergarten pedagogues ensure that they are sufficiently educated regarding allergies and that they encounter children with allergies quite often.
