Tématem práce je problematika četnictva na území habsburské monarchie a Československa. Hlavním cílem bude osvětlit vývoj tohoto orgánu, který začínal jako pouhý lokálně fungující sbor v severní Itálii a postupem času se stal celostátní organizací s velice širokým okruhem působnosti. Abstract:
The topic of this thesis is the issue of the gendarmerie in the Habsburg Empire and Czechoslovakia. The main objective is to clarify the evolution of this institution, which began as just local corps in northern Italy and over time became the nationwide organization with a very wide range of activity.
