Abstract:

Vedoucí práce PhDr. Mgr. Ilona Fialová, Ph.D. Anotace Bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem volnočasových aktivit dětí a mládeže s diagnózou epilepsie. Je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části je uvedena charakteristika onemocnění epilepsie, historické pojetí, etiologie, klasifikace, diagnostika, prognóza, léčba a kvalita život osob s tímto onemocněním. Zahrnuje i období psychomotorického vývoje dítěte. Dále pojednává o významu volného času, faktorech ovlivňujících jeho trávení a možnostech jeho trávení u jedinců intaktních, ale i s onemocněním epilepsií. Praktická část zahrnuje čtyři případové studie jedinců s epilepsií, kteří pravidelně jezdí na ozdravné pobyty pořádané spolkem Společenství harmonie těla a ducha. Informace byly získány na základě analýza lékařské a psychologické dokumentace, rozhovorů s jedinci s epilepsií a s jejich rodiči a formou dlouhodobého pozorování. Pro účely výzkumného šetření byla použita kvalitativní metoda. Klíčová slova Epilepsie, psychomotorický vývoj, volný čas, zájmové činnosti

Ilona Fialová, Ph.D. Abstract The Bachelor’s thesis deals with leisure activities of children and youth with a diagnosis of epilepsy. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, there are introduced the characteristics of epilepsy, its historical concept, etiology, classification, diagnosis, prognosis, treatment and the quality of life. The period of psychomotor development is also included. Furthermore, the thesis discusses the importance of free time, factors affecting time spending and the ways of time spending in the case of intact individuals, as well as epileptics. The practical part is based on four case studies of individuals with epilepsy who regularly attend rehabilitations organized by the Association of Harmony of Body and Spirit. The information was gathered through the analysis of medical and psychological documentation, through the interviews with individuals with epilepsy and their parents and through the long-term observation. For investigation, the method of qualitative research was chosen. Key words Epilepsy, psychomotor development, leisure time, leisure activities
