Appling of Design for Six Sigma Methodology to Product Development

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá metodami pro řízení a optimalizaci kvality: Six Sigma a Design for Six Sigma. V práci jsou uvedeny rozdíly mezi jednotlivými metodami, dále jsou detailně popsány nejdůležitější nástroje včetně statistických. U statistických nástrojů je uveden postup výpočtů a analýza výsledků s kritickým zhodnocením. Druhá část diplomové práce se zabývá praktickým využitím metody Six Sigma. Z dat naměřených na vyvíjeném elektronickém výrobku jsou demonstrovány například metody ANOVA, DOE a další.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is dealing with two similar methods for quality management: Six Sigma and Design for Six Sigma. They are described the main differences between this two methods as well as detailed description of the main statistical and fundamental tools. The process how to perform statistical analysis and tests are also shown in the first part of the thesis. The obtain results are critically evaluated. The second part of the thesis is focused on practical use of Six Sigma method. The data measured on newly developed electrical device are used for demonstration of statistical tools such as ANOVA, DOE.
