Integration of youth people with mental disabilities from children´s homes to our society

Abstract:

Problematika: Mladí lidé, kteří opouštějí dětské domovy, se ocitají ve velmi obtížné situaci, nemají totiž to štěstí, vyrůstat ve své fungující rodině, ale v rodině "náhradní", kterým je pro ně dětský domov a při jeho opouštění na ně čeká celá řada úskalí a nejistoty. Musí řešit situace, které jsou pro ně zcela nové. Možnosti uplatnění těchto mladých lidí na trhu práce je základní předpoklad jejich integrace do společnosti a také to, do jaké míry připravují dětské domovy své svěřence do života ve společnosti a jak tento přechod vnímají samotní mladiství. Cíl a metodologie: Cílem bakalářské práce je identifikovat adaptační potíže mladistvých po odchodu z dětských domovů a možnost prevence těchto obtíží v rámci výchovných intervencí v dětských domovech. Pro výzkumné šetření byly vybrány dva výzkumné vzorky. Základním souborem pro šetření jsou děti ve věku od 15 do 18 let a mladí lidé po dovršení 18 let ze třech dětských domovů. Celkem se do výzkumného šetření zapojilo 59 respondentů. Výsledky: Cílem zde bylo zjistit, zda existují statisticky významné rozdíly mezi jednotlivými dětskými domovy. Hladina významnosti byla stanovena na 5 %. Bylo zjištěno, že mezi dětskými domovy neexistuje statisticky významný rozdíl v rámci počtu odpracovaných let, kdy p-hodnota byla 0,505. Dále nebyl zjištěn statisticky významný rozdíl v naspořených částkách za měsíc, p-hodnota 0,424. Naopak statisticky významně vyšel rozdíl v hodnocení spokojenosti v životě u respondentů, kteří odešli z DD, kdy p-hodnota vyšla 0,002. Významně vyšel i rozdíl v hodnocení spokojenosti v životě u respondentů, kteří žijí v DD, p-hodnota 0,05. Závěr: Toto výzkumné šetření nám ukázalo, že při komparaci dat mez zkoumanými DD se významné rozdíly nepotvrdily. Lze tedy říci, že mladiství jsou na vstup do života připravováni, a to dle možností jednotlivých DD.

Abstract:

Matter: Young people who leave children´s home are caught in very difficult situation. They don´t have normal functional family to live in happily, but in family so called surrogate family, which is children´s home. When it comes to an end, they have to leave and must deal with new difficult obstacles on their own. Possibilities of applying them selfs in labour market is main key of integration to the society. Therefore, the children´s home must teach those people how to deal with the transition. Aim and methodology: The aim of this bachelor thesis is identify adaptation struggle in the field of educational interventions and possibilities of precautions in the children´s home after leaving them. For the research was chosen 2 samples. Subjects from main sample was in age ranges between 15 and 18 years, subjects from second sample was adult. Both samples was chosen from three diffirence childrens´s homes. All 59 subjects has participated in this research. Results: The aim was to find out whether there are statistically significant differences between individual orphanages. The significance level was set at 5 %. It was found that there was no statistically significant difference between children´s houses in the number of years of service, when the p-value was 0.505. Furthermore, there was no statistically significant difference in the saved amounts per month, p-value was 0.424. On the other hand, there was a statistically significant difference in the evaluation of life satisfaction among respondents who left children´s house, when the p-value was 0.002. There was also a significant difference in the assessment of life satisfaction among respondents living in children´s house, p-value 0.05. Conclusion: This research showed that the comparison of data between the examined children´s housees did not confirm any significant differences. It can be said that juveniles are prepared to enter life, according to the possibilities of individual children´s houses.
