Ochrana obilovin se zaměřením na diagnostické metody a alternativní způsoby ochrany rostlin

Abstract:

Obiloviny hrají důležitou roli v celosvětovém zemědělství a slouží jako hlavní zdroj výživy pro značnou část světové populace. Choroby a další škodliví činitelé však každoročně způsobují značné ztráty na produkci. Účinné zvládání chorob je tedy pro udržení výnosů nezbytné. Současně je také nutné zajistit, aby masivní používání chemických pesticidů neohrožovalo životní prostředí a zdraví lidí. Tato práce je zaměřena na různé diagnostické nástroje, od tradičních metod až po moderní molekulární techniky, které umožňují přesnou identifikaci patogenů. Kromě toho se zabývá problematikou rezistence houbových patogenů k fungicidům a zdůrazňuje význam používání rezistentních odrůd. Dále je práce zaměřena na metody biologické ochrany. Navzdory pokroku v oblasti indukované rezistence zůstává účinnost těchto přístupů v polních podmínkách omezená. Řešení uvedeného nedostatku představuje významnou příležitost pro zlepšení strategií ochrany rostlin. Celkově předložená práce shrnuje studie zaměřené na ochranu obilovin prostřednictvím laboratorních, skleníkových a polních experimentů, které sahají od diagnostiky chorob až po alternativní metody ochrany rostlin.

Abstract:

Cereals play an important role in global agriculture and serve as a primary source of nutrition for a significant part of the world's population. However, they are constantly threatened by pests and diseases that cause substantial yearly losses in production. Effective disease management is essential to maintain crop yields. Still, it is also necessary to ensure that the massive use of chemical pesticides does not compromise the environment and human health. This thesis explores various diagnostic tools, ranging from traditional methods to modern molecular techniques, that enable accurate identification of pathogens. In addition, it explores the issue of fungal pathogen resistance to fungicides and highlights the importance of using resistant varieties. Furthermore, the research addresses the emerging field of biological control strategies for the sustainable management of cereal diseases. Despite advances in induced resistance mechanisms, their effectiveness under natural field conditions remains limited. Addressing this gap presents a significant opportunity for improving agronomic systems strategies for disease management. Overall, this work contributes to cereal crop protection through laboratory, greenhouse and field experiments that range from disease diagnostics to alternative methods of plant protection.
