Image of the French Revolution in the Viennese Press
Abstract:
Tato diplomová práce se zabývá zobrazením Francouzské revoluce na stranách vybraného oficiálního tisku vycházejícího ve Vídni na přelomu 18. a 19. století. Na základě analýzy zpráv z revoluční Francie se soustředí na vývoj jejího zobrazení, okrajově se zabývá také cenzurou ve sledovaném období.
Abstract:
This thesis deals with the image of the French revolution on the pages of the selected official press comming out in Vienna at the turn of the 18th and 19th century. Based on the analysis of reports from revolutionary France it concentrates on developing its image, marginally deals also with the censorship in this period.
