Integrated thematic unit "My municipality" in musical concept

Abstract:

Diplomová práce představuje hudební výchovu jako edukační prostředek při nauce o regionu na 1. stupni ZŠ. Koncept se zároveň zakládá na principu integrované tematické výuky (ITV), což umožňuje provázanost napříč dalšími výukovými předměty. V teoretické části je vymezen model ITV, výuka spjatá s regionem i hudba a hudebněvýchovné činnosti, jakožto nástroje při vzdělávání a formování žákovy osobnosti. Dále se zabývá hudební výchovou z hlediska mezipředmětového propojení a také analyzuje a srovnává Rámcový vzdělávací program pro základní vzdělávání se Školním vzdělávacím programem „Ruku v ruce“. V neposlední řadě stručně charakterizuje obec Prostějov z hlediska vybraných hudebních potenciálů daného regionu. Praktická část je rozdělena do čtyř autorsky zpracovaných vzdělávacích bloků tvořících kompaktní integrovaný tematický celek v podobě metodického materiálu. Cílem je přiblížit žákům učivo spojené s jejich místem bydliště netradiční a zábavnou formou a nabídnout jim hudbu jako nástroj k poznávání světa.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis presents Music Education as tool for learning about a particular geographical region at lower grades of Primary School. The concept is also based on the principle of integrated thematic teaching (ITT), which allows coherence across other subjects. The theoretical part defines the model of ITT, teaching related to the geographical region, using music and musical educational activities as tools in general education and to assist with the formation of the pupil's personality. It also discusses Music Education in terms of interdisciplinary connections and also analyses and compares the Framework Educational Programme for Primary Schools with the School Curriculum "Hand in Hand". Finally, it briefly characterizes the municipality of Prostějov in terms of selected musical potentials of the region. The practical part is divided into four educational blocks, created by the author, forming a compact integrated thematic unit in the form of methodological material. The aim is to bring the pupils closer to the curriculum related to their place of residence in an unconventional and entertaining way and to offer them music as tool for learning about the world.
