Deposit Protection and Consumer Protection in the Slovak Republic and in Selected EU Country

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis deals by comparison deposits and consumer protection in the Slovak Republic and the Czech Republic. The first chapter theoretically determines depont, consumer, their structure and evolution in Slovakia, also defines institutions that operate on a financial market. The second chapter compares the volume of deposits, methods and institutions dealing with the protection of deposits. It analyzes the causes of the bank collapses and payment methods unavailable deposits to consumers. The third chapter compares the institutions that provide consumer protection and it is used payment methods of unvailable to consumers deposits.

Abstract:

Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá porovnaním ochrany vkladov a spotrebiteľa v Slovenskej a v Českej republike. Prvá kapitola teoreticky vymedzuje vklad, spotrebiteľa, ich členenie a vývoj v SR, zároveň definuje inštitúcie, ktoré na finančnom trhu pôsobia. Druhá kapitola porovnáva objem vkladov, metódy a inštitúcie zaoberajúce sa ochranu vkladov. Analyzuje príčiny krachu bánk a spôsoby vyplácania nedostupných vkladov klientom. Tretia kapitola porovnáva inštitúcie, ktoré zabezpečujú ochranu spotrebiteľa a postupy, ktoré pri tom využívajú.
