Rehabilitation of an amateur sportsman after ACL reconstruction: case report.

Abstract:

With the present worksheet, departing from the illustration of the anatomy of the knee, I will deal me with the lesion of the same, paying particular attention to the reconstruction of the anterior crusader of a sportsman amateur, assembling me on all the necessary aspects so that there is a full rehabilitation. It interests to underline, prioritily that the biomechanics of the knee, is of fundamental importance really for the job that this articulation has called to develop above all during the sporting activities to great impact as the kick, the basket or the rugby. The turn for the lesions that have to object the anterior cruciform ligament, which they are surgically treated for the reconstruction, is represented by the following treatment riabilitativo, which is essential for a full resumption of the sporting activity. The rehabilitation represents the moment of turn between a full resumption of the sporting (how motto previously) activity or the road for following lesions that can bring to the forced abandonment of situations in which the knee is submitted to incompatible stress with a partial functional resumption of the articulation in matter. The program rehabilitation postoperating , central theme of the elaborate one, can be schematized, but impossibility must be underlined to standardize in rigid too way the protocol used that it is that of Of beloved and Back. In fact every patient introduces peculiar characteristics that must be held in consideration. We will see, that the program rehabilitation, anticipated for our patient, you will be personalized, considering the all the possibilities, and not skipping any factor that to first impact can seem superfluous, particularly, non secondary element of the treatment rehabilitation is the psychological evaluation of the patient, because, usually and amiss, the criterions commonly to appraise the return to the sport, following a complete resumption, they don't understand the evaluation of the psychological variables. Not considering that the fear of a new accident, a weak motivation and the redoubt subjective perception of the functionalities of the knee they are in partnership to a smaller probability to take back the sporting activity to the preceding level to the accident after the reconstruction of the LCA. And' essential to explain in every detail which will be the job to develop, what the anticipated times are middly and, above all, what the most frequent complicanzes and the relative remedies are.In this type of lesions, the protocol of rehabilitation, or rather the recovery must not be abrupt, but progressive. All the exercises must be perform without fear, but also with confort, without forcing x and without excessive pain. An accelerated rehabilitation or too much aggressive you can jeopardize the final result. The tests more used are: ?Test of the distance with a single jump; ?Test of the distance with three jumps; ?Test of the distance of a cross jump; ?Test of the jump for 6 minutes. Therefore we can conclude, that as analyze taking in examination a having clinical case to object the reconstruction of the anterior crusader of a sportsman dilettante, so that there is a total resumption a job it is necessary of intensive physiotherapy and contemplated to the functional recovery of the inferior limb that always keeps in mind some demands of the concrete case.
