Role of Insurance Broker and Agent in the Sphere of Insurance Mediation

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na pojišťovací sféru v České republice. Obsahuje základní informace o vzniku pojišťovnictví, o pojišťovnách, pojistných smlouvách a především o pojišťovacích zprostředkovatelích. V práci je uveden přehled zprostředkovatelů pojištění působících na české trhu, jejich činnost, jejich výhody a nevýhody. Ovšem jejím hlavním tématem jsou pojišťovací makléři a pojišťovací agenti, kde je nejen rozšířen rozsah jejich činnosti, ale především je řešena otázka správného výběru.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis is focused on insurance sphere in the Czech Republic. It contains basic information about insurance industry origins, insurance companies, contracts of insurance and first of all about insurance brokers. In the thesis there is introduced a summary of the insurance brokers functioning on the Czech market, their activities, advantages and disadvantages. Nevertheless, the main theme of the bachelor thesis is represented by the insurance brokers and their agents. In this part of the thesis there is described not only the range of brokers´ and agents´ activities in detail, but there is solved the question of their correct selection above all.
