The study of energetic metabolism in hepatocytes injured by thioacetamide in in vitro conditions
Abstract:
Při studiu mechanizmů jaterního poškození se využívají modelové hepatotoxiny, mezi něž patří thioacetamid. Thioacetamid po jednorázové aplikaci navodí centrilobulární nekrózu a následnou regeneraci jater. Detailní mechanizmus jeho toxického účinku není ještě zcela znám. Cílem této práce bylo studovat účiněk thioacetamidu na primární kultury potkaních hepatocytů.
Abstract:
Model hepatotoxins, including thioacetamide, are often used for studying mechanisms of liver injury. A single dose of thioacetamide could produce a centrilobular necrosis with subsequent regenerative response. The precise mechanism of its toxic effect is not yet fully understood. The aim of this work was to study the effect of thioacetamide on primary cultures of rat hepatocytes.
