Language and Identity in David Malouf´s Remembering Babylon
Abstract:
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to carry out an analysis of the novel Remembering Babylon. The cultural context of the indigenous and the contemporary inhabitants of Australia will be taken into account. The main attention will be given to those aspects of the book which deal with the link between the language and the identity.
Abstract:
Cílem bakalářské práce je provést analýzu románu Vzpomínka na Babylon. V potaz bude brán kulturní kontext původních i současných obyvatel Austrálie. Hlavní pozornost bude věnována těm aspektům knihy, které se vztahují k provázanosti jazyka a identity.
