Creative writing and the German textbook Tangram 1B

Abstract:

This thesis deals with creative writing and with possibilities of its usage in learning of a foreign language. In the theoretical part are explained terms like creativity, creative writing, its functions, purpose, importance in the lessons of foreign language and also the classification of methods of creative writing. Two particular methods of creative writing – Mind Mapping and Clustering are described here in detail. The practical part of this thesis is created by guidelines to exercises, which I projected for the textbook TANGRAM 1B. In the empirical part is showed the evaluation of questionnaires filled out by students of the Grammar-school of F. V. Sasinek in Skalica, who worked with these exercises for two weeks and they evaluated work with these exercises in the questionnaires.

Abstract:

Táto magisterská práca sa zaoberá kreatívnym písaním a možnosťami jeho využitia pri výučbe cudzieho jazyka. V teoretickej časti sú vysvetlené pojmy ako kreativita, kreatívne písanie, ale aj jeho funkcie, ciele i význam v cudzojazyčnom vyučovaní a klasifikácia jednotlivých metód kreatívneho písania. Dve konkrétne metódy kreatívneho písania - Mind Mapping a Clustering sú tu popísané podrobne. Praktickú časť práce tvoria metodické pokyny k cvičeniam, ktoré som navrhla pre učebnicu nemčiny TANGRAM 1B. Vo výskumnej časti je uvedené vyhodnotenie dotazníkov, ktoré vyplnili žiaci Gymnázia F.V. Sasinka v Skalici. Žiaci pracovali s navrhnutými cvičeniami počas dvoch týždňov a v dotazníkoch prácu s cvičeniami ohodnotili.
