Bakalářská práce shrnuje dosavadní poznatky o mitochondriální a jaderné DNA extrahované z kostí člověka neandertálského. V první části se věnuje obtížím spojeným se zajištěním autenticity sekvencí DNA vyhynulých organismů vzhledem k degradaci DNA a kontaminaci vnější DNA. The bachelor work reviews the present understanding of mitochondrial and nuclear DNA extracted from the bones of Neanderthals. It begins with difficulties in assessing the authenticity of the ancient DNA sequences due to DNA degradation and contamination with the external DNA.
