Advanced Templating Implementation in LASE System

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se týká systému zodpovídání otázek napsaného v jazyce Java. Účelem systému je zautomatizovat proces získání odpovědi, kdekoli je možné provést potřebné operace bez potřeby porozumět širokému kontextu dokumentu, čehož jsou zatím schopni pouze lidé. Úloha je vyřešena především pomocí systému šablon, které definují formát otázky a množinu transformačních pravidel. Tato pravidla jsou použita k vytvoření části odpovědi s cílem získat textové korpusy z tradičního webového vyhledávače založeného na klíčových slovech, a dále s cílem extrahovat odpovědi z těchto korpusů. Proces vyhledávání zahrnuje morfologickou analýzu, rozpoznávání pojmenovaných entit a statistické zpracování výsledků. Systém šablon je schopen automatického učení. Vstupem modulu učení jsou páry otázka-odpověď. Ten následně rozšíří transformační pravidla šablon tak, aby odpovídala formám, ve kterých se odpovědi vyskytují v korpusech.

Abstract:

This thesis concerns an open-domain question answering system written in Java. The system is intended to automate the answer retrieval process wherever it is able to carry out necessary operations without the need of understanding the broad context of the document, which only humans can do at present. This task is accomplished using algorithms mainly based on a system of templates, which define question formats, and sets of transformation rules. These rules are used to create answer outsets in order to obtain text corpora from a traditional keyword-based search engine, and later to extract particular answers form these corpora. The search process also involves morphological analysis, named entity recognition and statistical processing. The templating system is capable of semi-automatic learning. Given question/answer pairs, the learning module automatically extends existing templates according to forms in which the answers occurs in text corpora.
