Hlavným cieľom tejto diplomovej práce je porovnať rôzne prístupy k určovaniu polohy zariadení pomocou ich IP adresy. Práca obsahuje detailné porovnanie a popis dvoch voľne dostupných GeoIP databáz od spoločnosti MaxMind a IP2Location. K porovnaniu bol použitý dataset od spoločnosti ESET.
