The development of partial functions of preschool children

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá rozvojem dílčích funkcí u dětí předškolního věku. Hlavním cílem celé práce je shrnout poznatky o dílčích funkcích a jejich deficitech, jakožto možným prediktorem vzniku specifických poruch učení a o následném rozvoji oslabených funkcí u dětí předškolního věku. Práce je rozdělená na teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část se skládá ze tří kapitol. V první kapitole je popsána charakteristika dítěte předškolního věku se zaměřením na jeho vývoj v jednotlivých oblastech, důležitost hry a stručný popis školní zralosti a připravenosti. Druhá kapitola se věnuje specifickým poruchám učení, jejich etiologii a klasifikaci, přičemž je zakončena pojednáním o varovných signálech specifických poruch učení v předškolním věku. Na to navazuje poslední kapitola, jež pojednává o dílčích funkcích, projevech deficitů dílčích funkcí a o možnostech diagnostiky a rozvoje dílčích funkcí. Text směřuje k praktické části, ve které jsou zmíněny cíle, využité výzkumné metody, charakterizováno výzkumné prostředí a výzkumný vzorek. Následuje analýza, interpretace a shrnutí výsledků výzkumného šetření, jehož hlavním cílem je odhalit deficity dílčích funkcí u vybraných dětí předškolního věku metodou Brigitte Sindelar.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the development of partial functions in preschool children. The main aim of the entire thesis is to summarize knowledge about partial functions and their deficits, as a possible predictor of the emergence of specific learning difficulties and about the subsequent development of weakened functions in preschool children. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part consists of three chapters. The first chapter describes the characteristic of a preschool child with a focus on his development in individual areas, the importance of play and a brief description of school maturity and readiness. The second chapter is devoted to specific learning difficulties, their causes and classification, while it ends with a treatise about warning signs of specific learning difficulties in preschool age. This is followed by the last chapter, which deals with partial functions, manifestations of deficitis of partial functions and the possibilities of diagnosis and development of partial functions. The text leads to the practical part, in which are aims and used research methods mentioned, the research environment and the research sample are characterized. An analysis, interpretation and summary of results of the research investigation is following and the main aim of the research is to reveal deficits of partial functions in selected preschoolers by using the method of Brigitte Sindelar.
