Tato bakalářská práce má za cíl zjistit, jaké kompetence a jak je porodní asistentky využívají v pracovním procesu. This Bachelor thesis has the aim to find out how and what competencies are used by midwives in work. The theoretical part of thesis includes history of obstetrics, labour and midwives' activities. Then the education of midwives from history to present is mentioned. And at the end, competencies in community care, around physiological labour, in lying in and new-born care are described.
