Single transferable vote, its possible modifiacation and use in the Czech Republic
Abstract:
Cílem mojí bakalářské práce je popsat možnosti využití systému jednoho přenosného hlasu (STV) v České republice. Za tímto účelem je popsán historický vývoj, fungování a současné rozšíření tohoto volebního systému. Dále jsou zkoumány možnosti a důvody pro zavedení tohoto systému v různých druzích českých voleb.
Abstract:
Main aim of the thesis is to discuss the possibilities of the use of the Single Transferable Vote (STV) in the Czech Republic. For this purpose the history, the function and the spread of this system is mentioned. The work then studies the possibilities and the reasons to use this system for different kind of the elections in the Czech Republic.
