Abstract:

Dizertační práce je zaměřena na studium vybraných druhů směsných oxidů připravených kalcinací z hydrotalcitů, které obsahovaly kationty (Mg, Zn, Ca, Al a Fe) v různých kombinacích. Byly studovány především strukturní, texturní a acido-bazické vlastnosti jednotlivých směsných oxidů, které byly porovnány s jejich katalytickou aktivitou v aldolové kondenzaci furfuralu s acetonem a transesterifikaci řepkového oleje s methanolem. Pro studium vlastností bylo využito mnoho charakterizačních technik jako rentgenová difrakční a flurescenční analýza, termogravimetrie a N2-fyzikální adsorpce. Jako první byly studovány Ca-Al směsné oxidy, které byly připraveny kalcinací hydrocalumitu v atmosféře vzduchu a dusíku. Aktivita katalyzátoru byla testována v transesterifikaci a stabilita vkládáním katalyzátoru do jednotlivých komponent reakční směsi. Ca-Al směsný oxid obsahoval ve své struktuře dvě fáze: mayenit a oxid vápenatý. Bylo zjištěno, že mayenit je stabilní při reakci, ale dochází k úniku CaO. Dále jsem se zabýval Mg-Al směsných oxidů a Mg-Fe rehydratovaných směsných oxidů u kterých byl studován především vliv molárního poměru Mg/M3+ na aktivitu v aldolové kondenzaci. Získaná aktivita byla porovnána s acido-bazickými a strukturními vlastnostmi připravených materiálů. U Mg-Fe hydrotalcitů studován také vliv prekurzoru (Cl-, NO3-) na jejich strukturní vlastnosti. Bylo zjištěno, že rehydratované směsné oxidy s molárním poměrem Mg/Fe 3:1 až 5:1 dosáhly 100 % furfuralu po 40 minutách reakce. U Zn-Al směsných oxidů byla pozornost zaměřena především metody přípravy a studium podmínek aldolové kondenzace. Příslušné hydrotalcity byly připraveny srážením roztokem (i) NaOH, (ii) Na2CO3 a (iii) metodou rozkladu močoviny. Navíc byl metodou rozkladem močoviny připraven i Zn-Mg-Al směsný oxid. Vlastnosti vzniklých směsných oxidů byly porovnány s katalytickou aktivitou v aldolové kondenzaci. Dále byl studován vliv množství katalyzátoru a molární poměr aceton/furfural na aktivitu Zn-Al směsného oxidu.

Abstract:

The doctor thesis is focused on the study of chosen mixed oxides, which were synthesized from hydrotalcites by calcination. The hydrotalcites contained cations: Mg, Zn, Ca, Al a Fe in different combinations. The structure, texture and acid-basic properties of mixed oxides were studied and compared with catalytic activity in the aldol condensation of furfural with acetone and the transesterification of rapeseed oil with methanol. Many characterization methods such as XRD, XRF, TGA a N2-physisorption were used to study the material properties. At first, the Ca-Al mixed oxides were prepared by calcination of hydrocalumite in nitrogen and air atmosphere. The catalyst activity was tested in the transesterification. The stability was tested by dissolving of catalyst in the reaction components. The Ca-Al mixed oxides contained two phases: mayenit and calcium oxides. It was found, that mayenit was stable during reaction, but the CaO leached. The Mg-Al and Mg-Fe mixed oxides were studied. The influence of molar ratio of Mg:M3+ on the activity in aldol condensation was studied for Mg-Al mixed oxides and Mg-Fe rehydrated mixed oxides. The catalysts activity was correlated with acid-basic and structure properties. Moreover, the influence of two types of precursor (Cl-, NO3-) on the structure properties was determined for Mg-Fe hydrotalcites. The maximum conversions of furfural were found for rehydrated Mg/Fe mixed oxides with molar ratio Mg/Fe 3:1 to 5:1. The method of syntesis of Zn-Al mixed oxides was studied. Hydrotalcites were prepared by co-precipitation with (i) NaOH solution, (ii) Na2CO3 solution and (iii) by decomposition of urea. The properties of mixed oxides were compared with catalytic activity in aldol condensation. Moreover, anther type of hydrotacite Zn-Mg-Al was prepared by urea method. The texture, structure and acid-basic properties of Zn-Mg-Al mixed oxides were compared with catalytic properties in aldol condensation.
