Abstract:
The aim of the thesis is to compare William Shakespeare's romance Pericles, Prince of Tyre and George Wilkins's novel The Painful Adventures of Pericles, Prince of Tyre, and also to analyse the two different parts of the play and introduce the reader to the theories about a second author of the play who might be George Wilkins himself.
