Abstract:
Tato práce je zaměřena na termoregulační mechanismy plazů. Cílem práce bylo zpracovat formou literárního přehledu shrnutí dostupných poznatků o termoregulačních mechanismech plazů. V práci je popsáno rozmezí tělesné teploty šupinatých plazů, želv i krokodýlů, ve kterém plazi vykazují aktivitu. Dále jsou vysvětleny 4 základní způsoby tepelné výměny plazů s prostředím.
