Abstract:

Výsledná práce je video zpracované jako stop motion. Ve videu spolu vedou hlavy debatu. Busty jsem vyrobila z pěti materiálů. Koupila jsem si polystyrenovou hlavu, která mi byla inspirací pro ostatní. Dále jsem použila sádru, papír, molitan a hlínu. Každá z hlav představuje svůj charakter. Sádrová hlava je tvrdohlavá a pomalu puká. Polystyrenová hlava je arogantní, představuje nechutenství nejen k lidem, ale i věcem. Papírová hlava představuje vztek, vzplane vzteky. Molitanová hlava ztělesňuje strach, strachy se rozkrájí. A hlava z hlíny, která sebou nechá manipulovat. Ve výsledném videu spolu hlavy vedou debatu. Může se jednat o diskuzi mezi studenty, kdo má pravdu a kdo ne, nebo o tom, jak hospodařit s penězi, nebo jak přistupovat ke změně klimatu. Tyto situace se nám mohou dít jen v hlavě, kde se také rozhodujeme, jak se postavit k různým životním situacím.

Abstract:

The final work is a stop motion video. In the video, human heads are having a debate. I made the busts from five materials. I bought a polystyrene head, which was the inspiration for the other heads. Next I used plaster, paper, foam and clay. Each of the heads represents its own character. The plaster head is stubborn and it is slowly cracking. The polystyrene head is arrogant. It represents the disgust not only towards people but also towards things. The paper head represents anger which will make the head burn in flames. The foam head embodies fear and it will be cut into pieces because of this fear. And the clay head is the one that lets itself to be manipulated. In the final video, the heads are having a debate. It may be a discussion between students, who is right and who is not or it may be a discussion about how to manage money or how to approach the problem of climate change. These conversations can be happening in our head where we are also deciding how to deal with different life situations.
