The bachelor thesis deals with Ukrainian and Ruthenian folk songs. In the first part of the thesis, the concept of folklore is explained, since it is the textual component of folk songs that is part of folklore. Bakalárska práca sa zaoberá ukrajinskými a rusínskymi ľudovými piesňami. V prvej časti práce je vysvetlený pojem ľudová slovesnosť, keďže práve textová zložka ľudovej piesne je súčasťou ľudovej slovesnosti.
