Abstract:

Tato práce předkládá výsledky studie přítomnosti spirochet v larvách komárů rodů Culex a Culiseta zjišťované metodou DFM na lokalitách Brno-Obřany a Blansko v letech 2000-2005. Celkem bylo pomocí metody DFM vyšetřeno 1185 larev z nichž na přítomnost spirochet bylo 154 pozitivních (13,00 %). Tyto pozitivní vzorky byly dále testovány pomocí metody PCR a borreliová DNA byla potvrzena u šesti vzorků (0,51 %). Otázkou zůstává zařazení ostatních neidentifikovaných spirochet, a také určení jednoho izolátu, který byl charakterizován jako neodpovídající rodu Borrelia.

Abstract:

Monitoring of the presence of spirochaetes in mosquito larvae in the years of 2000-2005. This study demonstrates the presence of spirochaetes in mosquitoe larvae of the genus Culex and Culiseta, found by the DFM method, in lokality Brno-Obřany and Blansko, Czech Republic, in 2000-2005 years. We examined total of 1185 larvae. 154 from them were DFM positive (13,00 %) for the presence of spirochaetes. With other PCR method we tested if samples positive for spirochaetes are borreliae which was confirmed in this collection 2000-2005 in six cases (0,51 %). The question is the formatting of the rest of nonidetified spirochaetes, if they are pathogenic or not, as one our isolated strain was identified by PCR as not to be Borrelia burgdorferi s.l.
