Abstract:

Cílem této studie byla explorace možných rozdílů v rozhodovacích schopnostech mezi studenty humanitních a studenty technických oborů. Tyto rozdíly se zkoumaly na vzorku 200 respondentů ze dvou brněnských univerzit pomocí tří psychodiagnostických metod: Rozhodování v časovém stresu, nově zkonstruovaný Test kognitivních a rozhodovacích procesů a americký subjektivní Dotazník rozhodovacích stylů, který byl pro tyto účely přeložen do češtiny. Důležitou součástí naší studie bylo zároveň i ověření reliability použitých metod. Studenti technických oborů podali lepší výsledky v prvních dvou testech, nicméně reliabilita všech použitých metod se ukázala být jako ne zcela vyhovující. Výsledky této experimentální studie mohou dále sloužit jako materiál pro oblast psychodiagnostiky a pro další studie, které se budou zabývat podobnými otázkami či tématem konstrukce nových psychodiagnostických metod na rozhodování.

Abstract:

The purpose of this study was the exploration of possible differences between students of humanities and students of technical fields of study. This research was collected from 200 respondents of two universities in Brno. Three psycho-diagnostic methods were used: Decision-making in time of stress, new constructed Cognitive Process and Decision-Making Test and American subjective Questionnaire of Decision-Making Style, which was translated into Czech language for this purpose. We verified the reliability of used methods as the very important part of this study. The students of technical fields of study achieved better results in the first two methods; however the reliability of all used methods was unsatisfactory. The results of this experimental study can serve as a material for the psycho-diagnostic field and for the next researches which will deal with similar questions or with the topic of construction of new psycho-diagnostic methods for decision-making.
