Předkládaná bakalářská práce se zabývá členstvím Evropské unie ve Světové obchodní organizaci, se zaměřením na způsob, jakým EU prosazuje své ekonomické zájmy. Pozornost je zaměřena zejména na dvě oblasti. Tou první je pozice EU v jednáních probíhajících v rámci tzv. kola jednání z Dohá. Tou druhou je účast v obchodních sporech řešených na půdě WTO. Abstract:
This bachelor thesis deals with the membership of the European Union in the World Trade Organization, with special focus on the ways in which the EU promotes its economic interests. Two areas are analyzed: the position of the EU in the current Doha round of negotiations and the participation in the WTO dispute settlement system.
