Replicator equation

Abstract:

Tématem této práce je replikátorová rovnice. Nejprve jsou definovány potřebné pojmy z teorie diferenciálních rovnic a teorie her. Úvodem do daného tématu je evoluční teorie her. Replikátorová rovnice je pak odvozena pomocí předchozích pojmů. Pozornost je věnována základním vlastnostem řešení replikátorové rovnice a vztahu stability singulárních řešení replikátorové rovnice a rovnovážných strategií příslušných maticových her. Dále jsou formulovány podmínky za jakých je replikátorová rovnice ekvivalentní s Lotkovými-Volterrovými systémy, resp. systémy Hamiltonovými. Zařazen je i ekonomický příklad zaměřený na dané téma.

Abstract:

The topic of this thesis is a replicator equation. At first, there are defined some necessary terms from the theory of differential equations and the game theory. An introduction to the topic is the evolutionary game theory. The replicator equation is then derive from the previous terms. The attention is given to the basic qualitative properties of the solution of the replicator equation and to the relationship between the stability of the rest points of the replicator equation and the stable strategies of the appropriate matrix games. Next, there are formulated the assumptions under which the replicator equation is equivalent to the Lotka-Volterra equations and the Hamiltonian system. The economic example that is inspired by this topic is included in, too.
