Life of people with mental illness in the care of the Mental Health Center

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na život lidí s duševním onemocněním v péči centra duševního zdraví a na jejich vnímání kvality života. Cílem diplomové práce je zjistit a analyzovat vnímání kvality života osob s duševním onemocněním v péči centra duševního zdraví a na základě provedených zjištění navrhnout možnosti, jak zvýšit kvalitu poskytované péče v tomto zařízení. Cílem výzkumné části diplomové práce bylo navázat na teoretické poznatky. Hlavní výzkumnou otázkou pak bylo zjistit, jak vnímají kvalitu svého života klienti v péči Centra duševního zdraví Praha 9. V práci byla použita kvalitativní výzkumná strategie s využitím polostandardizovaných rozhovorů.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is focused on the life of people with mental illness under the care of a mental health centre and on their perception of the quality of life. The aim of the diploma thesis is to find out and analyse the perception of the quality of life of people with mental illness in the care of a mental health centre and based on the findings, to propose options for increasing the quality of care provided in this facility. The goal of the research part of the diploma thesis was to build on the theoretical findings. The main research question was to find out how clients in the care of the Centrum duševního zdraví Praha 9 perceive their quality of life. The work used a qualitative research strategy using semi-standardized interviews.
