Reflective Techniques of Beginning Kindergarten Teachers

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce teoreticko-empirického charakteru se zabývá reflektivními technikami v práci začínajících učitelů mateřských škol. Teoretická část vysvětluje pojmy, které souvisí s problematikou, jako jsou sebereflexe, reflektivní techniky a začínající učitel. V rámci výzkumu bylo uskutečněno dotazníkové šetření, do kterého byli zapojeni začínající učitelé mateřských škol. Cílem práce je popsat, jak začínající učitelé mateřských škol používají reflektivní techniky. V rámci dotazníkového šetření respondenti hodnotili přínosy reflexe práce učitele a její důležitost pro zlepšení vzdělávání v mateřských školách. Většina začínajících učitelů (80 %) provádí reflexi své práce pravidelně - každý týden, někteří i několikrát týdně, jelikož v ní vidí přínosy do další praxe. Nejčastěji používanou reflektivní technikou začínajícími učiteli je zpětná vazba ze strany dětí, nejméně častou pak hospitace ze strany vedení.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis of theoretical-empirical character deals with reflective techniques in the work od beginning teachers of kindergartens. The theoretical part explains concepts related to the issue, such as self-reflection, reflective techniques and beginning teacher. A questionnaire survey was conducted as part of the research, in which beginning teachers of kindergartens participated. The aim of the thesis is to describe how beginning teachers of kindergartens use reflective techniques. Within the questionnaire survey, beginning teachers evaluated the benefits of teacher's work reflection and its importance for improving education in kindergartens. The majority of beginning teachers (80 %) regularly reflect on their work - every week, some even several times a week, as they see benefits for their future practice. The most commonly used reflective technique by beginning teachers is feedback from children, and the least common is observation by the director.
