Oral Health Methodology for Teachers of Medical Disciplines

Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Metodika ústního zdraví pro učitele zdravotnických oborů“ poskytuje přehled nejdůležitějších znalostí pojících se s ústním zdravím. Tento přehled slouží především učitelům zdravotnických oborů, ale i široké veřejnosti. Je zde popsáno zubní lékařství jako takové společně s podobory – stomatologická protetika, stomatochirurgie, implantologie, ortodoncie a v neposlední řadě dentální hygiena, která je v dnešní době základem hygieny člověka. Dále se diplomová práce zaměřuje na popis dutiny ústní včetně vývoje zubů, jejich anatomii, stavbu a rozdělení. Mezi nejčastěji se vyskytující nemoci patří onemocnění zubním kazem a parodontotitidou, proto jim je věnovaná patřičná pozornost. Pro úplnost a ucelení informací je práce zaměřena i na správnou techniku čištění a dentální pomůcky, které jsou nedílnou součástí pro udržení zdravého chrupu a měkkých tkání. V praktické části byl vytvořen dotazník týkající se četnosti zapojení ústního zdraví jako tématu do výuky na středních školách a gymnáziích včetně průzkumu o návštěvnosti dentální hygieny. Součástí praktické části byla vytvořena brožurka s obsahem diplomové práce sloužící jako metodika ústního zdraví, kterou mohou pedagogové použít ve výuce.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis „ Oral Health Methodology for Teachers of Medical Disciplines “ deals with provides an overview of the most important knowledge related to oral health. This overview is intended primarily for health care professionals, but also for the general public. Dental medicine as such is described here with dental prosthetic, dental surgery, implantology, orthodontics and, last but not least, dental hygiene, which is the foundation of human hygiene. Further, the diploma thesis focuses on the description of oral cavity, including the development of teeth, their anatomy, construction and distribution. The most common diseases include dental caries and periodontitis, so the right attention is given to them. For the completeness and refinement of the information, the work is also focused on the correct cleaning technique and dental aids, which are an integral part of maintaining healthy teeth and soft tissues. In the practical part, a questionnaire on the frequency of oral health involvement as a topic for secondary and grammar education was created, including a survey of dental hygiene attendance. A piece of the practical part there is a brochure containing a diploma thesis which can be used as methodology of oral health in lessons by teachers.
