Comparsion of various types of MS adhesives

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou UV stárnutí polymerů a srovnáním pevnostních charakteristik u různých typů MS lepidel na různých typech adherendů. První část práce se věnuje problematice MS lepidel, a to konkrétně vlastnostem, vytvrzování a aplikaci MS lepidel. V další části je věnována pozornost stárnutí polymerů, kde jsou rozebrány jednotlivé faktory, jako vliv kyslíku, UV-záření, vody, ozonu, teploty a větru. V závěru této části je stručně popsáno zkušebnictví, hodnocení pevnosti lepených spojů dle normy ČSN EN 1465 a měření změny barevnosti. Pro experimentální část bylo vybráno celkem šest MS lepidel. U těchto lepidel byly testovány mechanické vlastnosti lepených spojů pro různé typy adherendů a pevnost v tahu jednotlivých MS lepidel za různých podmínek. V neposlední řadě byly změřeny charakteristické teploty pomocí měření TMA a DMA spolu s modulem pružnosti při různých teplotách, které byly následně porovnány mezi sebou.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the the prolematics of UV aging and comparsion of mechanical properties various types of MS adhesives on different types of adherends. The first part of this works is devoted to problematics of MS adhesives, especially to properties, application and curing mechanism. The next part is devoted to polymer aging, where they are disassembled separately, such as oxygen, UV-radiation, water, ozone, temperature and wind. Finally in this part is briefly introduce testing of polymers, how to judge the quality glued joints by norm ČSN EN 1465 and measuring color change. For experimental part, six MS adhesives were selected, The mechanical properties of glued joints were tested for these adhesives on various types of adherends, tensile strenght of MS adhesives for various conditions. And finally the characteristic temperatures and E-modulus at different temperatures were measured by using TMA and DMA analysis. These measured data were then compared to make final conclusion.
