Application of Atiyah-Singer Theorem
Abstract:
Diplomová práce se zabývá aplikacemi Atiyahovy-Singerovy věty o indexu v kvaternionické geometrii. Ukazuje se, že na kvaternionických varietách existuje široká třída eliptických komplexů diferenciálních operátorů. Cílem práce je popsat metodu, jak spočítat analytické indexy těchto komplexů, a tuto metodu pak aplikovat na několika příkladech.
Abstract:
The diploma thesis deals with applications of the Atiyah-Singer index theorem in quaternionic geometry. It is known that on quaternionic manifolds there is a large class of elliptic complexes of differential operators. The aim of the thesis is to describe a procedure how to compute the analytical indices of these complexes and then apply the procedure on several examples.
