Soil Reinforcing with Geosynthetic Materials and Their Use in Transport Structures

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá využitím geosyntetických materiálů v dopravním stavitelství.V první části práce jsou popsány vybrané typy geosyntetik, které se používají v dopravním stavitelství. Jsou zde uvedeny jejich vlastnosti, chování a spolupůsobení se zeminou. Dále jsou uvedeny jednotlivé vyráběné druhy geosyntetik, funkce, které mohou v zemní konstrukci plnit, a možnosti jejich využití za účelem vyztužování zemních konstrukcí včetně grafického znázornění jednotlivých případů. Další částí je praktický příklad vyztužení pomocí geosyntetických materiálů. Spočívá v návrhu sanačních opatření a ověření správnosti návrhu pomocí software GEO 5, kterým je modelována sanace poruchy konstrukce drážního tělesa (sesuv svahu). V závěrečné části jsou uvedeny a porovnány výsledky stabilitních výpočtů pro původní nevyztužený svah a nově navržený svah vyztužený geosyntetiky.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis deals with usage of geosynthetic materials in transport structures. First part of the thesis describes selected types of geosynthetics that are used in transport structures. Properties, behavior and interaction with soil are mentioned here. Individual types of manufactured geosynthetics, functions which they can fulfil in ground construction and possibilities of their usage for reinforcement of ground construction including graphical visualization of individual cases, are introduced next. Next part is practical example of reinforcement with the help of geosynthetic materials. It consists in design of redevelopment steps and verification of the design accuracy using the software GEO 5 which is used to model redevelopment of trackbed construction failure (landslide slope). Results of stability calculations for original non-reinforced slope and newly designed slope reinforced with geosynthetics are introduced and compared in the final part.
