Project plan to increase the efficiency of warehouse operations

Abstract:

Předložená bakalářská práce se zabývá zvýšením efektivity provozu skladu ve společnosti Intersoft-Automation s.r.o. Hlavním cílem této práce je vytvoření konkrétního projektového plánu za pomoci metod a nástrojů projektového managementu. První část práce je zaměřena na teoretický základ činností, které je potřeba stanovit před vznikem jednotlivých plánů. Druhou část tvoří jednotlivé plány projektu, jež jsou zde vypracovány jak po stránce teoretické, tak praktické a konečné zhodnocení plánů. Mezi výstupy konkrétních plánů patří logický rámec projektu s definicí cílů, hierarchická struktura činností, časový harmonogram, rozpočet a plán rizik. Tyto plány může společnost porovnat při dokončení projektu se skutečností a použít je při celkovém zhodnocení úspěšnosti projektu.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with increasing the efficiency of warehouse operations at Intersoft-Automation Ltd. The main objective of this work is to create a specific project plan by using the methods and tools of project management. The first part is focused on the theoretical basis of the activities that need to be determined prior to the formation of different plans. The second part consists of individual project plans, which are formed both a theoretical and practical assessment and final plans. Among the outputs of these specific plans belongs the logical framework of the project with the definition of goals, hierarchical structure of activities, time schedule, budget, and risk plan. These plans may compare the company upon completion of the project with the reality and use them in an overall assessment of project success.
