About the problems of the structure of the czech banks financial groups

Abstract:

Tato práce pojednává o finančních skupinách bank, především o jejich strukturalizaci, důvodech jejich vzniku a komplexnosti jejich struktur. Teoretická část se zabývá vysvětlením pojmu banka a možnými specializacemi této instituce, vývojem bankovních služeb, trendy v bankovnictví a charakteristikou finanční skupiny. V aplikační části jsou představeny finanční skupiny dvou předních českých bank, jejich vznik a vývoj s následným porovnáním nejvýznamnějších oblastí činnosti jejich členů.

Abstract:

This work treates of the bank finantial groups, their structuralization, reasons of their rise and the complexity of their structures. The theoretical part is concerned with concept of the bank, possible specializations of this institution, evolution of bank services, emergence of banking and characteristics of the finantial group. In the application part are introduced the finantial groups of two major Czech banks, their rise and evolution, with consequently comparation the most imporant spheres of activities their members.
