Solving the question of succession in a family business

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je věnována problematice rodinného podnikání a otázce nástupnictví v rodinné firmě Agarden rostliny s.r.o. Hlavním cílem práce je navrhnout konkrétní podobu dlouhodobého plánu nástupnictví, který zohlední nutnost postupného předávání kompetencí generaci nástupců, současně ale konkrétně určí i rozdělení agendy mezi jednotlivé nástupce, přičemž bude v maximální možné míře usilovat o udržení kvality osobních a rodinných vztahů mezi všemi aktéry procesu nástupnictví. V teoretické části práce je definováno rodinné podnikání, popsán jeho kontext a rovněž i představen proces nástupnictví, který je nedílnou součástí životního cyklu rodinných podniků. V části praktické je nejprve detailně představena zvolená rodinná firma a navržena metodika postupu řešení práce. Také jsou představeny, provedeny a dokumentovány potřebné analýzy a výzkumy, na základě jejichž výsledků a závěrů je sestaven samotný hlavní výstup práce v podobě dlouhodobého plánu nástupnictví v této rodinné firmě. Výstup práce je tedy přínosem jak pro konkrétní firmu, tak pro další rodinné podniky, které budou nuceny se touto otázkou zaobírat.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis is devoted to the problematics of family business and the question of succession in the family company Agarden rostliny s.r.o. The main goal of the work is to propose a concrete form of a long-term succession plan, which will take into account the need for the gradual transfer of competences to the generation of successors, but at the same time will also specifically determine the division of the agenda between individual successors, while striving to the maximum extent possible to maintain the quality of personal and family relationships between all actors of the succession process . In the theoretical part of the work, family business is defined, its context is described, and the succession process, which is an integral part of the life cycle of family businesses, is also presented. In the practical part, the selected family business is first presented in detail and the methodology of the work solution procedure is proposed. The necessary analyzes and researches are also presented, carried out and documented, based on the results and conclusions of which the main output of the work is compiled in the form of a long-term succession plan in this family business. The output of the work is therefore beneficial both for a specific company and for other family businesses that will be forced to deal with this issue.
